Subjects Taught

A native of Lee, Florida, I attended and graduated from Lee Junior High School (Kindergarten through 8th Grade) and Madison County High School (9th through 12th Grade).  I received my Associate of Arts Degree from North Florida Community College in Madison and my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Florida A&M University.  I am currently certified in the state of Florida to teach Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Exceptional Student Education.  I have also received a Pre-Kindergarten Disabilities Endorsement from Florida State University.

I began my career with the Madison County School District as a paraprofessional at the former Lee Jr. High School.  During that time, I took classes from Florida A&M University in the evenings to obtain my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  In 2002, I received my first teaching assignment and taught Exceptional Student Education at Madison County Central School.  The following year, I made the move to the Pre-Kindergarten team at Madison County Central School, where I taught Pre-Kindergarten for ten years.  In August 0f 2013, I made the move back "home" to Lee Elementary School, where I hope to enjoy teaching Pre-Kindergarten for many more years to come!!
